Rated 4 out of 5 by Orangeseed from BIGGEST BANG FOR THE BUCK Due to our age, we had someone assemble it. Quick put- together. We have had our for over 3 years. I have read the other reviews, so, this is a senior citizen comment. The arms on the chair aide support in getting up and the fact that it swivels, means less chair re-adjustment. The chairs are light enough to move over the pool deck and at the same time provide enough weight for stability in getting up. To all you "young ones", the "getting up & down" process becomes an EVENT the older you get. The care and upkeep is very simple and easy. Mild soap and water and hose off. Since we are in Florida, we are able to hose off at least one a month. So far, no fading from the sun, but since one chair is in the direct sunlight more than others, we do rotate the positions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Whitney from Absolutely beautiful and sturdy patio set This patio set is extremely well made and very easy to put together. A little bit darker color in person than in the ad picture, but looks great and is very functional. Chairs turn 360 degrees without any problems and very comfortable. Table glass already set in place and thick/doesn't scratch easily. Assembly instructions are very easy to follow and patio set can be put together in a timely fashion even for those who aren't mechanically sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by alti4 from Sit and enjoy the backyard in comfort The 5 piece patio set looked great coming out of the box. Very easy instructions to follow. I put the table and chairs together in less then an hour. All the holes are predrilled, and the tools needed are supplied with the set. It has a rust resistant steel frame, weather resistant body. 4 chairs with a 360 degree motion. The chairs also swivel and have a rocking motion. The scratch resistant tempered glass is great for what ever you set on it. I would recommend this set, the furniture is comfy and adds class to any back yard.

Rated 4 out of 5 by paxfax from Good Value - Still From China The adage "you get what you pay for" still applies with this set, however it remains an excellent value. Heed the warning to use your own tools as what they supply is laughable. Also, be careful about not to over tighten anything as the China metallurgy and frame receiver threads are not robust. The front edge seat flanges are not bent to meet the rails exactly so split the difference and snug them up evenly. Don't crank them down to flush or you risk stripping the threads. Some of the bolt holes on the seat tilt assembly do not line up exactly, so put them all in loose and let the nuts pull it together evenly. The table legs need to be squared as you tighten them to the center hoop, so again, assemble loose and have a partner hold the leg square and tighten as you go around. Same tightening rules apply here as well. So when everything was completed and I flipped the table over, the glass rattled and made it seem cheap and poorly made. I was able to tighten it up some by repositioning the little blocks that hold it in, but ended up sliding slivers of a wooden tongue depressor (or popsicle stick) in-between the glass and the block. Once it was secure, it was acceptable, although I discovered a small flaw in the glass (I let it slide). Note that each leg has a leveling screw which helped make up for the somewhat less than square assembly. Once I installed the umbrella and base I purchased, it ended up a looking quite nice, particularly for what I paid. You can't find 4-swivel rocker chairs and a table for anything close to the $399 I paid. Sure Brown Jordan is way more solid with welded joints, but from standing back it looks just as good, and these chairs are way lighter which reviewers have enjoyed...as have I. So lets see...Brown Jordan at $3800 (each chair would have been $700), or this for $400...you let your pocket book decide. My wife and I had dinner on it last night and were thrilled at the affordable and significant visual upgrade to our patio. Chairs are comfortable, swivel and rock as advertised, and if the one reviewer who has had it 6 years is any indication, will continue to be impressed with the value for some time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pappy from Good Quality and Very Comfy Our patio is located under a large tree that birds like to congregate in so needless to say, I needed something that was easy to wash clean. With its glass top and washable seats, this looked ideal. It was delivered in two large boxes at about 150 lbs. total. It appeared that they had been through a rough trip so I was concerned when I opened them up. I was pleasantly surprised to see how well all the pieces were wrapped up in bubble wrap. It took as long to unwrap it all as it did to actually put it together - total about 2 hours. Don't use the rinky dink wrenches included, but get a socket wrench to do the job. For each chair, you attach the seat with 4 screws and the seat post with 4 more (very easy.). The finished seat is then connected to the base by sliding the post into the slot until it stops (get it started then set in it to pop it on down.). The glass tabletop is a frosty translucent finish with a slightly curved metal frame. It has an umbrella hole in the center. To assemble it you first attach the 4 legs to a center stabilizing ring using 8 screws then you attach the top to each leg with 1 screw. I did it by myself but if you had someone to help hold the pieces, it would go a lot faster. The finished set is of very good quality and looks great! I really like the swivel and gentle rocking motion of the chairs. The fabric for the seat and back has a little give to it to conform to your body and is very comfortable. I am very pleased and highly recommend this.

Rated 3 out of 5 by catlady from Parts were missing, but it is beautiful The Altamira Diamond Patio 5-piece Dining Set purchased at Home Depot is very attractive and is just the right size for a small backyard patio. I would have given it 4 or 5 stars except all of the hardware for the chairs was missing. This was particularly annoying because I hired someone to put it together and now he has to come back when the parts arrive. Which leads me to another topic - the customer service rep. was incredible in researching exactly which parts were needed and how many of each. She even looked up the assembly instructions to make sure she sent what was needed for 4 chairs. Overall, a mixed bag of experiences, but I'm hopeful Home Depot will be redeemed with having sent the correct parts. We'll see.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Maime from Great Patio Furniture This is a nice looking patio set and a great size. We have limited space so I wanted something that wouldn't take up the whole patio but still be big enough to be functional. Plus my husband is tall so "little" chairs wouldn't work. It was relatively easy to assemble but did take a long time with just two people (~2.5 hours). My only negative comment its that one of the chairs started to rust after it got rained on. Not really sure where on the chair it is coming from but it is not significant. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase and think it was relatively well priced.
